subjectVegista to participate in the "2024 New York Fancy Food Show" at the North American Food Fair
Vegista (CEO Han Hyung-seok) announced on the 7th that it participated in the "2024 New York FANCY FOOD SHOW" held at the Javits Center in Manhattan, New York.
The fair is a place where various food brands from all over the world gather to showcase the latest food trends and products. Vegista introduced five types of plant-based gimbap and three types of plant-based rice bowls through the "IMONE ORANGE HOUSE" brand.
According to Vegista, buyers and visitors were highly interested in differentiated vegetable sports gimbap such as vegetable tuna, vegetable bulgogi, and sausage, and also showed a demand for rice topped with gimbap as the next product.
"We are very happy that gimbap and rice bowl products have received a great response from buyers. Through this fair, we were able to confirm the possibility of entering the North American market," said Han Hyung-seok, CEO of Vezista. "Bezista is growing rapidly, reaching $100,000 in exports in the first half of the year, focusing on its global division established in February 2024, starting with 50 billion sales in 2023."
"Vegeta will continue to M&A food manufacturers targeting North America. We are in the process of finalizing the acquisition of manufacturers of gimbap and rice bowl, and we are considering acquiring food manufacturers on the Indochina Peninsula," he added
